A healthy day as the prize for the winning Campus

‍
Every year SWPS introduces new prizes that keep employees engaged and motivated to stay active. In previous years these included office massages, where employees could enjoy 15-minute relaxing sessions, consultations with a dietitian to better match their diet to individual needs, and body composition analysis to help monitor health and physical condition.

In 2024, the prize for the winning campus was a healthy mid-morning breakfast for all employees, meant to promote mindful eating and care for everyday diet. The table was filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and other healthy snacks, natural vitamin shots, light salads and wholesome sandwiches.

The prize was a bull's-eye! Employees welcomed the idea with enthusiasm and gladly joined the shared meal. Many of them pointed out that a healthy breakfast is an often skipped but very important part of the daily diet, which gives energy for the rest of the day and helps you feel better.

Charity and responding to social needs

SWPS is consistently involved in social and charity initiatives. That is why combining a sports campaign with a charity goal works especially well for them. Participants not only look after their health, but also add their brick to a good cause.

During the 2024 edition, funds were raised to support the SWPS Foundation.

The change in scoring paid off‍

Changing the scoring system in the CAMPUSES team competition turned out to be a breakthrough. It made the competition even fairer and opened the way to victory for new locations.

In previous editions, Warsaw was the undisputed leader, but the new rules, which take into account the engagement of the whole campus, completely changed the dynamics of the competition. As a result, the Poznań Campus, which stood out with remarkable mobilization and activity, took first place!

How does it work?

The scoring was adjusted to reflect employees' real engagement: the points each team (campus) earned were calculated in proportion to the number of people employed at that campus. This way the prizes went not only to the best, but above all to those who joined the challenge most actively and in the greatest numbers!

The results were impressive, both in the number of participants and in the atmosphere at the company. One employee summed it up like this:

"This year I was especially happy that the scoring was changed, which motivated us to make an even bigger effort."

‍

SWPS employees often took the stairs instead of the elevator, enjoying the chance to earn extra points for steps. What's more, this small change turned into a lasting habit: many participants admitted they still take the stairs, even after the challenge ended.

For many years SWPS has shown that sport and a healthy lifestyle can be an integral part of work, with a positive effect on both employees' well-being and how the whole organization works.

Thanks to the participants' commitment, the challenge not only promoted physical activity but also had a real impact on important social initiatives. Employees are looking forward to the next editions and value them for the motivation, integration and caring for health together.
