Helping is on our way!
Training means helping! "Time for your move," the organisers encouraged.
Combining fun with purpose
All engaged participants received interesting facts and tips on how to take care of themselves and others as road users. This was supported by the “Missions” feature in the app, which works in a very simple way. By recording their kilometres, participants unlocked new “milestones” with themed advice as they progressed.
Short pieces of information and valuable tips were prepared for runners, walkers, and cyclists. Participants could discover them by completing consecutive stages on the way to reaching their kilometre goal: 1,000 km for cyclists - achieved by 414 people - and 300 km for those on foot - completed by 236 participants.

Kilometres supported a meaningful goal
During the challenge, everyone could watch the charity goal progress bar steadily grow. Three months of active time spent by nearly 3,000 people resulted in 1.4 million kilometres cycled and 228,000 kilometres covered on foot.
Thanks to such high engagement, at the end of the initiative the organisers were happy to announce that 100% of the charity goal had been reached: PLN 50,000 was raised for the Moc Pomocy Foundation.
Nice rewards
Prizes were prepared for the most engaged participants. Walkers and runners could receive Continental sports gadgets and a hydration belt, while fans of two wheels could win cycling light sets in addition to the gadgets.
The highlight of the Continental challenge was the organisation of the Tour de France in the Activy app. The excitement was huge, as the leader received a certified Ineos Grenadiers jersey signed by the riders, along with a replica Tour de France medal. The remaining podium places received sets of Continental road tyres. A real treat for cycling enthusiasts!
A total of 1,197 participants took part in the initiative and, from 26 June to 18 July - on the same days as the real competition - they cycled as many as 329,220 km.
It was certainly an unusual initiative for passionate cyclists, but also an interesting example of how varied and attractive Activy challenges can be.
Positive impact on the environment and community
In the following editions, in 2023 and 2024, the challenge goals became even more ambitious. The organisers expanded the environmental theme, including the promotion of environmental protection and education for participants on reducing plastic use and the benefits of using eco-friendly means of transport.
Together, participants covered more than 500,000 kilometres, which translated into real support for environmental initiatives. This time, the beneficiary of the funds raised was the MARE Foundation, which works to protect the Baltic Sea, educate society, and clean the sea of plastic waste.
This is how the MARE Foundation wrote about the event.
Summary
The annual initiative organised by Continental is an extraordinary project that combines a passion for physical activity with care for the environment. Each edition proves that participant engagement can have a real impact on improving quality of life and protecting the planet.
The Continental challenge is a space where sport, ecology, and charity support come together, and each of us can play a part.
